Benefits of Yoga for Kids (and anyone really!)

All you fellow yogi's out there know how GREAT you feel after taking time for yourself and having a regular yoga practice.  Well, the same affects and more are found by kids who practice yoga.  Here are just some of the benefits of yoga:

  • Kids develop self awareness and self regulation skills
  • Kids learn to manage stress and alter their moods
  • Kids sleep better
  • Better digestion
  • Better self esteem
  • Increased confidence
  • Increased creativity
  • Comfortable in their own bodies
  • Relaxed in their minds
Don't we all want that for our kids and ourselves?  

Enroll your child in a yoga class near you and maybe one for both of you.

  1. We would like to have you come to our Daisy meeting. We were thinking about February. Our meetings are on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 for 1 hour. Would you rather we visit your studio?
